Nokia 6600 Dead Pixels (5 Of Them)

Hey Im New
My Nokia 6600 Has 5 Dead Pixels And My Mates Which We Brought At Teh Same Time Has None, does nokia have a policy about dead pixels as my phone is only 3 months old, can nokia give me a lcd screen free??

Well if you have a warranty then its no problem, just go to the shop you bought your phone from and ask him to repair it...or you can go to a nokia center to do so.

Even if you don't have a warranty you can repair the phone but you should pay to replace it.

as far as i know they repair it for free if you have 2 dead pixers and more!
if u have one, the warranty doesnt exists!! weird, but I've heard it

i believe nokia would replace it since u have 5 pixels dead coz just like jojo said, if its 1 or 2 pixels only, they wouldnt replace it.

Who told u that! I change twice n6600 lcd screen with only 1 dead pixel and they never complain! Only I complain that they scratch my phone casing while changing the lcd screen!

here is the catch!

mine got A dead pixel, and the receptionist at nokia care told me that they dun normally change it if the dead pixel is only one. but i told her that im planning to sell off mine and the dead pixel is definitely gona make the value of the phone drop! so the receptionist jus change mine for me!!! hahaha!!!!

fucking stupid nokia pple! its their fault anyway for making the pixel dead! and they dun replace it!

Yeah, but its to do with all the trading laws and that. LCD/TFT monitors can have 1 dead pixel and manufacturers don't have to replace it. Some will, but others can legally refuse. I spose this is where nokia are coming from...

yeah, for a 15'' TFT your allowed up to 3 or 4 dead pixels before the manufacturer will repair it and on a 17'' its up to 6 i think???

but then, some manufacturers dont agree with this crappy law and will repair it no matter how many pixels are dead
