if i screw up everything in my phone, is there anyway to reset anything?

yes

be sure to make a full backup of your phone before starting modding (unless you don't mind having "fresh" sw flashed into it )

that's one good thing about DCT3 is that you can mess around with the flash memory that, once erased and re-flashed, goes back to the original state. you can even remove the cable or close prog in the middle of the flashing process that phone won't be harmed. happened to me twice the last couple of days
