Don't know if this is the place, looking for a generic BT driver

Hello,
Somewhat new to the board, I have been browsing, but now I decided to finally register.

Anyhow, I have a NOKIA 3620. I was curious if anyone knew where I could get a Generic BT driver....if there is such a thing. I have a Kensington BT dongle, and to make a long story short, I ruined the installation disk. Kensington has been absolutely, NO HELP. Could anyone refer me somewhere where I could get a driver for this?

i think you need to search for a widcomm bt driver, google should produce that download, hope this helps!!!

I would assume this is a generic driver that works with all BT dongles'?
I have seen various threads pointing to the information/website you have mentioned, but I was unsure as to whether it would drive my hardware or not.

i think widcomm is for all bt devices on a windows based system no matter what make the dongle is

It appears you are right. I visisted a bunch of sites and came to that same conclusion. It also appears that it is a complete Pain in the Arse, to get it to work. My computer installes the device and appears to recognize that something is there, but as far as using it goes.....NO WAY Jose! I have tried a Bzillion times to get it to run, but I have had no luck.

i know took me weeks to finally get it to work on my win98 machine but for some reason went stright onto winxp pro machine only getting problems when i upgarded to sp1!!! well worth it when its up and running
