9210 Signal Weak

Guys,

Can anyone help me with this problem where my Communicator all of a sudden loses it's signal ... I have changed the Co-Ax cable, but it's still like that ? I thinking it could be a dry joint somewhere, but I'm not sure which IC/Components are responsible ... I have checked the tech section but so far I haven't found many articles in 9210's.

Any help would be much appreciated ...

From personal experience of this, I believe your communicator may require a full front curcuit replacement, I got it done quite cheap, but not sure where because it got sent away. This way, your communicator should have a stronger recpetion than it does.

Ohh, boy .. now that would be bad ...

Not a lot of 9210's around here ...

The main dealer here charges a small fortune for parts.

Then there's a thing with changing IMEI, etc, etc, ...

well dude.. i m havin the same problem with my communicator... and the repair guy says the IC has 2 b replaced.. i think u mite hve da sme problem... one day my comm. jst stopped catchin ne network... it coudnt even find ne neww networks.. so i think u will hve 2 changge da IC.. i tried openiin and tried 2 trace da ciircuit etc.. but i think its kinda complicated and its better u give it 2 da proper person...
