app. manager won't uninstall??

Hey guys,

I'm having a problem with the app. manager on my 6600 (FW 4.09). He can't uninstall some of the applications this is really weird. Is there someone with the same problem and if so, how can it be fixed. Because I'm getting tired of manually uninstalling everything

it happened to me on my 6600 after I did a hard reset, since I have all my apps installed on the MMC non were affected by the proccess EXCEPT the psiloc apps and IR remote, they stopped working, so I tried uninstalling without success I also tried to reinstall them but still the newly installed programs didnt work so eventually i deleted their program files using Seleq BUT still after that I cant reinstall them to work properly.


To fix that:
1) Do a MMC format
2) Do a hard reset ( key in *#7370# and have ur security code ready, also while doing so keep the phone hooked to a power supply because any interuption during the proccess will permenantly damage the phone software.)

After that you will start with a clean slate, just as you bought ur 6600 except with the latest firmware.

In the future always backup ur phone whenever it becomes steady, so if you experience any problems you would do a restore proccess to get it ready again.

I hope I have solved ur problem.
