Hello

first of all I cant believe I found this site.

It was really helpfull

I put my EMEI it said the phone was unlock

but unfortunatelly now its asking me for a Security Code... I tried everything... Nothing seems to work

I tried to enter another code to unlock, but it said phone not lock...

So PLEASE HELP ME how can i found a code? do i really need to go to a rogers store????

p.s: I saw there was a link for Motorolla, but its temporally out of service, could anyone have any links similar to here??? Its for my friend.

THX AGAIN! I was amazed, cause i paid someone on ebay, i specially asked for motorolla, he sent me the software for Nokia... i realized it was the same thing as here....

Have you tried nokia's default? -> 12345

If that doesn't work then only solution is getting an MBUS cable and a DCT3 Tool (free software), either to read code or to reset it to default

Read some posts about DCT3, MBUS, security code, etc...

thanks for answering, i tried the 12345 not working

I'll go read the posts u suggested me... otherwise i wont have the choice to go into a Rogers store.... they said they might need to reinstall something...

If i do go, will i have to re- unlock the cell again? i mean after the reprogram my phone?

Hi

i apologige for my previous post because i misread the phone model and gave inacurate info.

In fact, your phone is a DCT4 and you'll need and FBUS cable and a program to reset security code. But you must be carefull because there are some programs out there that can damage phone.

So the best thing is to take it to a pro and have it reset to factory default values. Be sure to mention that phone is already unlocked and all you need is to know the current security code

don't worry about it. i even checked the msgs about DCT3 i didnt saw the sn of my phone lol
