How to change to MMC memory for 3650?

Dear folks,

Before I continue ranting about my problem here, I would like to thank you guys for all the much-needed info posted. You guys really did a great job!

I’m using a 6600 & 3660 and both phone are great though I tend to use my 3660 for experimental purpose. Hehehe! I have a Trascend 128Mb MMC in my 6600, which works wonderfully, and a Ridata 128Mb MMC in my 3660, which really SUCK! No wonder it’s cheap. In USD, it should be $22. I have a BT doggle that works wonderfully for 7 months now and downloading & uploading files are no big deal. I’m trying my best to spread apps I’ve downloaded for free coz most of the shops here sell those apps quite expensively. For example, Ultra MP3 cost USD7.50 to install and they don’t even care if it’s working or if it’s a trial version. As long as they’ve installed it, you have to pay. *sigh* That’s a rip off coz one, they got it for free & second, a good quality pirated DVD is cheaper… only USD3.50 here!

Ok. Back to my curiosity. Last few weeks, some friends of mine passed me their 3650s (3 of it!) to install some apps. The thing is, 1 of the 3650 messages can be saved in the MMC but the other 2 can’t. I’ve tried to change the setting to ‘memory card’ but the same warning message appeared – “mce blah blah blah” (I forgot… hehehe). Then I tried to install MCE3650ForN-Gage.sis but it didn’t work (or was my file corrupted or did I get the wrong app?) At last, for the 2 phones, I have transfer all the apps using a card reader.

So, my questions are:

1. Why can’t I store messages received in the MMC of the 2 3650s?
2. Why one of the 3650 messages can be stored in the MMC?
3. What is the name of the app that allows me to do this?
4. If MCE3650ForN-Gage.sis is the wrong app to solve this problem, what does this app really do coz I don’t have problem playing some N-gage games on my 6600?

That’s all for now & I really appreciate if someone can share some light on this problem I’m experiencing. I’ve been reading lots of threads but maybe I’ve over-looked this topic. Just tell me which thread and I’ll read it myself. And if I’m asking on the wrong section… Sorry! My bad!

you dont need any app, messages on mmc is in the firmware

go to messages, options, settings, other, set mem in use to mmc.
