Nokia 6800a

Hello,

I have a Nokia 6800a from Ebay
It hase a chip in it from T-Mobile

But i want it to use here on Curacao, we are using here a tripleband GSM network (850/1800/1900)
when i put a sim in it that we are using here, and turn it on, i dont have a signalbar looks that it does not recieve anything

does it have to do that the phone needs to be unlocked, for use on a other network ?

can sombody help me with this

if the phone accepts the sim from the beginning - it is unlocked already.

which network are you trying to connect to?
