can lost contacts be recovered?

hi

my engage has stopped booting and my repairman says that it needs to be flashed and it will come back to life but all the contacts will be lost

can the contacts be saved?

Only if the phone is not completely dead, that is that power is running through the phone but it wont boot up. e.g. you get a white screen when powering up, and it stays like that. If this is the case majority of the time you can back up the contacts using appropriate software e.g. oxygen and f-bus cables etc.

But if you phone is dead and there is no response from the phone when turning on then your chances of saveing the contacts are very uinlikley.
