    Choosing a new cellphone

Hi! I've been using a 3650 since last year. Nowadays I'm thinking of changing of my cellphone but still not quite sure what would be the right choice.

If I choose 6600 or even 7610, do I get much more than 3650? I'm quite aware of some of their advantages like better display, higher memory, megapixel camera (7610) but AS A SMARTPHONE what would be the advantages? Do we have s/w especially written for 7610 (or 6600) which can not be run on 3650? I don't think so! (Please correct me if I'm wrong) Then do they have any new SMARTPHONE Feature(s) not included in 3650? They still belong to the same generation. Higher version operating system might have some advantages which I'm not aware of. Then maybe I must try one of Nokia's new MobilePhones and give a rest to SmartPhone Concept for a while!

I would love to see your comments on this.

    Many Thanks

I bought both a Nokia 3650 and 6600 at the same time, to see the difference and that. I kept the 6600 because it's newer, smaller, looks more businesses like, however, if it wasn't for the fact that I had already bought the 6600, I would of just kept the 3650. There's really not that much difference in my eyes, sure the 6600 can do things that the 3650, but I have yet to find anything that makes me think "wow, I'm so glad I chose the 6600". So personally, I wouldn't bother upgrading to the 6600, just wait till you can get the 7610, or future model later on...

The biggest advantages of the 6600 over the 3650 is the looks (it's smaller and can use themes) and that it can play some ngage games, apart from that the differences are minor. The 7610 on the other hand is even smaller and the camera/vid rec absolutely rapes the 3650 and 6600. If I were you I'd wait a few weeks and get a 6630 though.

Someone asked this in another thread; you should read my response there.

But I'll say it all again. I've had a 3650 for a year and a half. I would not consider buying a 6600 or even 7610 simply because they aren't enough of a technology upgrade for me. The 6600 and 3650 are almost identical. The 7610 is smaller with a better camera, but still isn't a significant change from the 3650.

    Cameras:..3650 VGA resolution | 7610 1 million pixels | 6630 1.23 million pixels
    Processor: 3650 104 mhz........ | 7610 122 mhz....... | 6630 220 (???) mhz
    RAM:....... 3650 4 MB............. | 7610 10 MB.......... | 6630 12 MB
    Internet:. 3650 GPRS (40 kbps)| 7610 GPRS (40kbps)| 6630 EDGE (350 kbps)
    Mem Card:3650 MMC U.B.*..... | 7610 RSMMC U.B.*. | 6630 RSMMC hot swap
    Size:....... 3650 Big............... | 7610 Small............ | 6630 Medium
    s/w:....... 3650 same............. | 7610 same............ | 6630 same
    OS:........ 3650 good............. | 7610 better........... | 6630 best

*U.B. means the card is placed under the battery. the phone must be turned off to change cards. Hot Swap means you can change cards while the phone is on without taking it apart.

The question to ask yourself is: Will you notice a difference if you get a (7610, 6600, 6630). Probable answer: no.

Either get the 6630 or wait for something better.
