Contact Service 3310 - PLEASE HELP !!

Hello !!

I am a new bie to flashing.

Well, I am using the Dr. Bizare's Combi Flasher Circuit. In that the MBus cable worked fine and i was able to do upload and download from the mobile. When i used the Flasher Cable also and used Rolis 479 to read from the phone, it gives me error Preloader initisation error. I tried it many times and even changed my Parallel Port interface from ECP to ECP+EPP. Now the phone is showing Contact Service and when ever even i try to connect mbus and use Eeprom Tools to find the error it shows me either Phone not connected or PPM Version unknown.

Help me please. What should i do

did u try to change the phone type in the drop down list of rolis? try flashing with you battery full.

wat OS are you using?

I have already selected Nokia 3310 and have already got the battery charged.

I am using Windows XP and also using UserPort

Atlast i had got the flasher of my friend and it worked. I think its the problem with the circuit. Mbus is working fine but not the flasher. Dont know whats the problem.

flashing under XP is not easy. Use Porttalk and allowIO. Personally it works alot better than Userport.

Thanks for the info, but now i have also tried it under Windows 98 but also the same error. Now what should i do. Now i think its sure that the fault is in the circuit and with the capacitance, i suppose ( bcoz the capacitor i dont think is exactly the same one which is given in the circuit.)
