Hardware differences on 6600,7610,6630

Hi All

hope u are all swell, oops i mean well...
Does anyone know the hardware differnces on the Nokia 6600, 7610,6630 etc
is it possible to swop components from one to the other? i mean like 7610 cam to the 6600 or mainboards etc, stuff like that, just curious coz i wanna put the 6600 joystick onto the 7610 or 6630 and shit like that...

Nope not possible (in almost all cases)

The processors, RAM chips, motherboards, MMC slots, power management systems, cameras (and their circuitry in the board), bluetooth modules, bios chips, and almost every other component differ in these phones completely. You could MAYBE swap certain components in a 7610 and 6670 OR 6600 and 6620 because those two pairs of devices are so similar. But remember, the 6600 for instance is intended to have only the hardware that it has. The bios, software, and other components simply wouldn't work with a different camera, different processor, etc.

Hell, if phone parts were interchangeable like that, my 3650 would have a 220 mhz processor, 10 MB RAM, a 1.3 MP camera, and a hot-swap MMC slot. But they aren't. It would be like putting the Playstation 2 processor in a Playstation 1 and expecting it to work.
