nokia 6230 help needed

Hi.

I've installed my new drivers and PC Suite however when I begin the program and connect my Nokia 6230 via USB cable it does not detect my phone. Can anyone tell me what i'm doing wrong?

are you using a dku2 cable?

Yep. Everything was workin' fine until I ran pc suite and it wouldnt let me click on 'ok' after saying 'connect mobile phone.'

Ok heres the steps I went through before this problem happened so someone tell me what im doing wrong:

I installed the drivers and then the pc suite software

I connected my 6230 to the back of my pc through a dku2 cable

On my taskbar I have an mRouter icon that lets me to select the ports I want PC Suite to search (offers me ports 1, 2, 3 and 5) yet i can only tick 1, 2 and 3. I apparently cant tick 5 because it says 'cannot use infrared port'

I also have a Nokia connection manager icon that confirms a nokia 6230 is attached through USB.

Yet whenever I try to run pc suite it doesnt detect my phone.

I know this sounds mighty confusing but surely there's someone out there who can help?
