Nokia 8290 flash cable

Just wondering if I should hunt down a serial cable or if a USB cable will be suitable for flashing/modding. I've found a USB cable on ebay and the guy isn't sure if he can get the serial cable. Will the USB work with most software if I set up the com port correctly?

You cannot flash with serial cable,
To flash you will need a flasher cable which uses an LPT port.
You will also need a serial (mbus) cable though.

Ok. I just purchased a serial cable (F2BUS/M2BUS auto switchable) from GoGocity, but they didn't have the LPT cable. Where is a good place to find the LPT cable? I don't want one of the "kits" that has every available adapter, I only want the 8290 adapter.
