keypad problems

i have a nokia 6620 (extremely similar to the 6600), and the keypad randomly started to malfunction. for example the the red key acts like the no. 7 key and the c key acts like its the pencil key. Also the no. 0 key acts like its the no. 1 key. i would think that its the keypad allignment however the following keys are no where near each other

Try to formate phone.

*#7370# or turn it off, hold Green key, 3 and * and turn on phone. (works on my 6600)
