I have a Samsung SCH-A670 from Verizon in the States and I accidentaly splashed the plug where you connect the charger to the phone. Believe me, it was just a little water splash, so I took it to the store and they gave the round around. Now I'm stuck with a phone that won't even turn on, the only thing that happens when I try to turn it on is it'll display on the screen "UART CONN EMERGENCY DOWN LOADING", and I don't know what the hell that is.
Do I need to send the phone to Samsung?
Can it be fixed?
Is there a way to flash it with some software or any particular key combination that I can type to bring it back to life?
Do I have to buy a data cable?
It's a darn good phone and I hate to have to look for info on the net but I'm not paying $200 for a basic phone to replace this beauty, the main problem is that I have some info I need to access on the phone.
So people, can you please help me? Thanks in advance.
