Nokia screen problems

Hi all,

I have two older Nokia handsets with screen problems. The first is a Nokia 7250I. The phone works makes and recieves calls but the screen is blue. NO evidence of cracks etc but before I change it am I missing something?

The second is a Nokia 8210. Phone powers up and makes calls but even though the screen lights up there is no display. Is this just a simple elastomer change or maybe something more sinister?

Thanks in advance, don't work much with these older handsets.

Hi Adam...

the 8210 is defo the LCD, although the elastomer is to blame (i think)... what used to happen is that one of the tabs on the side of the lcd would snap off making the LCD sit at an angle and not contact the pcb properly...

the 7250i is harder... not sure about it mate so just try your best with it!!

Hi,

Thanks for the reply. Got a new 8210 lcd on the way so will see if that solves the problem. Will speak to owner about 7250i as it may not be worth the expense of the LCD.
