Problem with Infrared by Nokia 6100..??

I have Nokia model 6100 and I have problems with sending or receiving files like pics or midi files from another Nokia phone ..
Infrared is activating when I activate but in other phone shows that conecting failed....

How do you know the fault is with your phone?
It is possible the fault is on the other phone!
You should try with a third phone with IR on, this way you are eliminating the possibilities.
