Help with wrong software c 45!

Hi!
I'am here again.I have a lot of problems with my c 45.I flash my phone with dead file repair(all2.0.5 software).In first time this not work,now work o.k and then I upload with swup v 35 and this work to,but when I turn on phone say-wrong software and here I have another problem.
I have usb data cable and in win xp I have no problem with port,but in win98 this port is always instaled in port 5 and I can't instal it like port 3 or 4,so now I can't read my log from phone.

Is any log reader or wrighter to work in xp or any other solutions to fix this?

try finding a serial cable for c35 (it works for c 45 also) and read log with it.

i don't know about usb cable...never used one
