guys, im thinking of buying a new bluetooth for my pc, whicch one of you uses bluetooth as a connection? what brand? where did you buy it? how much? have problems? cos im kinda sccared to buy with all the bluetooth problems in the forum. i was thinking of replacing my infra red because its not working well anymore. i dont know where the problem is whether its on the phone on the pc or on the infra red itself. i recently installed mcafee firewall and it blocks some inicoming and outgoing information, i suspected this to tbe the reason why my infrared was not working properly (always discconnect) but when i uninstalled it, i have the same problems still. please enlighten me.

I really don't know cause I have not used it nor received fedback from users. But I have read an article on the net, can't remember the site saying it is better than the MSI.
The most popular I know here in the Phil is the MSI, maybe because it was from one of the leading Motherboard manufacturer MSI - the first to integrate Bluetooth capability on motherboards.

    just a thought.

I use a Billington Bluetooth USB adapter and it works fine.
I bought it at Sm Cebu (Thinking Tools).

I am using billionton too. I chose it over MSI bcoz its smaller and looks better. Hehehe but if you were to base it on the specs, i would prefer MSI coz i read in its site that it can support upto 200 meters. You decide

The Billington dongle works fine, if there is nothing between the phone and the dongle.
If I go out in my garden and there is a windows between my PC and my phone, it lost connection, even if I am only 1 meter away... thats the bad thing and should not be....

The soft that comes with the dongle hast still some bugs under Windows XP. If I connect the bluetooth serial port by clicking on the Trayicon, I can connect without problems. But, after the connection is done, the Trayicon is "dead"...

    Billionton

The only problem that i have with billionton is the limited range. Try downloading the latest driver. I cant remember the address, just look for it in the MSI bluetooth thread.

Good, I can still use my phone even I am downstairs (surf the net while my brother is playin CS). The BT should work within the 10m range multipoint. The 200m as specified on MSI BT is iff you are using it in an open area.
