has anybody tried this app?
i cant seem to make it work...
i start the bemused server and it says connected so i refresh my list on my phone but it just stays there... never ending refresh

I have it installed on my phone and it works.

yes, I have some subfolder and I can open this folder and play the songs

hey guys i have the same problem with bemused v1.3 and 1.2 and prev versions for that matter, bemused is perfectly capable of reading from multiple directories or atleast that is what mr montanaro the coder told me, but i too have problems wiv reading from large song collections anything over 100 songs normally it just hangs telling me its refereshing the list but no list is even been created!. i think its got something to do with the id3 tags! or maybe the filenames of the mp3s possibly

If you have many directories and mp3s, just do this:

After installing bemused.sis, load it. Before refreshing the song list, push the joystick right many times until you get to the options menu. Then scroll down to 'download song list' (or something) and change from 'all at once' to 'when required'. This will only send the contents of a folder when needed, and is far, far quicker and takes up much less memory.

If you want to play a folder, you can go options -> play, or if you want to browse inside a folder, click the joystick and it will download its contents.
