Help pls A50 Jordik Boot error

Please could someone give me some advice. Using Jordik A50 unlocker on windows ME i get Boot error please try again with a v2 A50 locked to Orange.

Any suggestions as to what i might be doing wrong please?

Could it be the datacable as the cable works with all other Siemens unlockers i use.

Or could it just be this phone?

    Many Thanks

    mscomm.dll

You have to update your system libraries (dll). It's the only way for free unlocking of a50 at the moment.

The program should show dongle id 7108. To open the phone first remove the
housing (outer) then use a screwdriver to lever the top of the phone open
and then remove the front panel. Keep the keypad handy. You need a piece of
bared wire, keep the battery in the back of the phone and put one end of the
wire against the metal shields on the back of the board. (i trap it between
the shield and the back of the phone). The other end of the wire needs to be
touched on the test point shown in the picture attached. With the wire
attached power on the phone (i use the keypad to do this or you can short
the contacts with a screwdriver point if you like), push read phone on the
software, the phone details will fill out.

Next i would make a phone backup in case of any problems (the wire needs to
be connected for all procedures with the software). Once a backup has been
read and saved, use the unlock button. Put the phone back together and it is
    unlocked.

Hmm, well mine seems to work fine, guess the ids must vary. Or maybe it is the connections inside the dongle?

If it ain't broke don't try to fix it!
