If ure Sick of the games read here !?!?!?

When are game developers going to make some decent games like a Rayman or a Sonic or Alex Kid from Master System or even a Duke Nukem, ??? We all know 7650 could handle it just look at Prince Of Persia, DOOM and Flames, There are a few good games out now but for the amount of games there are out its dissapointing,I know splintercell is comingout but if the 3510i version is anything to go by its not going to be anything special. The P800 hasnt even been out that long and the games on that are Amazing and i dont think theres much difference in the 7650 and P800 gaming wise. The 3650 ? you should be able to buy game cartriges that go in the MMC slot like on the N gage.If the Games on skydigital are Good e.g Tomb Raider and Darts the 7650 should be alot better.

The potential that the 7650 has and its being wasted on games that are all the same with different Names or games that are old and boring.

P.S I think that Grand Theft Auto would be a great game for the 7650, I know you can get it on the GOboy EMU but i think its cr@p on there.

The 7650 really could be better than the P800 but The game and software Manufactures are just out for the Money. Maybe in a few years when the new smart phones are out they will bring out a Videocamera that will record for nearly a minuite and bring out a decent game.

I think it all comes down to the memory limitations and that 7650 has jack sh*t, Doom was nice but once installed you can't really have anything else installed. I would love to see Gta on the 7650 or that old battle tank game which was on the 486 from the early 90's, actually i would love to see C64 port's, Last Ninja would be nice.

I tried Snails which was pretty good but unstable on my phone, Meltdown was pathetic, I can't believe they charge $10 for the game, they should pay me to play it!! I would love a decent version of Mahjongg on the 7650 where you can actually see the tiles properly also Spider Solitaire would be nice.

Somewhat in the near future - right now the Sanils are a worthy opponent...

@Terryzip123: Take a look at the following games on the 7650 platform:

    - Interstellar Flames
    - Cosmic Fighter
    - MGS Karting
    - MGS Steel Warrior
    - Diesel 3d MiniGolf
    - Nightmare
    - Snails
    - Tennis Maniac

Now tell me - is the 7650 scene really that bad? And quoting buchikin:

    " 7650 is a phone, remember?"

    Don't forget the java-games:

    - Siberian Strike is pretty nice

and one of the best strategical java games (to my mind) ATOMIC!!! (it's small and freeware and makes much fun).

    I don't need Sonic or s.t. else.....
If you want that, buy a N-Gage.

But Snails is really well done!!!

    Bounce

I really got into bounce, but I've completed all of the levels so I uninstalled it while I wait for nokia to realease some new ones. But once you start to play it, it's very addictive.

Breakthrough is nice too, like amegas (spelling) for the amiga.
Shame this one has swirling background images that mean anything more than 30 seconds can be painful.

    Zero

Yeah! Bounce is really great! And compressed it's not really big - in relation to the great graphics!!

    @Judicator: Yes, forgot Siberian Strike, great game indeed, although one you complete both episodes you kinda want more, don't you... :}

@ili: Geopod is the only 'good' game I didn't try here, cause I never seem to have enough space to install the damn thing - the installation file alone comes up to 750 K! Isn't that quite big for a 7650?

May the SymbianForceOS be with you...

It took me about a month to realise how geopod could be installed... I had at 1.6mb and always out of memory. What I did was this... When out of memory appeared, I erased the message from inbox, went to manager, highlighted geopod (last on the list) , pressed options, install and VOILA!!! Hope it works ( unless u have less than 1.4-1.5mb). Awsome game, and not so easy to become a champ too. Although kind of tiring for the eyes after a long play without turning a head...

Just backup your phone and then erase all java-games and some big apps and then you have enough space for geopod to try...

After erasing geopod again, just copy the backup over the phone...

After doing the post i became curious of the game and did this to install it (very similar to yours, ili):

Firstconnected via mRouter and opened Epicware's File Manager. Then I uploaded the geopod.sis file manually to c:/Nokia/Install (which doesn't take twice as much disk space and is where the installation copys itself from the inbox folder), deleted a bucch of useless apps, and then I had just as much free space to install it :}.

    Success!
    (Nice game too...)
