I haven't got such phone, but on mine 6600 it works out the same. Using FExplorer, it shows drive d: ("ram") as 1401/1403 kb, yet when i use MemoryMonitor, it shows that i have 8.69 MB of actual RAM free.
My guess: The drive d: "ram" is the temporary memory in which the phone puts half-completed downloads etc while working with those files, yet what's shown in MemoryMonitor is your actual "RAM" such as in a computer.
