hie there everybody,

i was looking for a replacement cellphone for my 3510i, so after doing some research on functions/features of the current phones and budget, i decided to buy the Nokia 3100....

the thing is after playing around my friends 3100 which he bought a few months ago, i noticed that there is no such way of assigning the downloaded SINGLE polytones to the his contacts even though the contacts are moved to the phone memory....u can still do other stuff though like change types, add details like email address, notes and personal web page even insert picture as caller ID..

one way i noticed i can assign tones to his contacts, but not the way i wanted actually is by assigning those certain contacts to caller groups where u can customize the caller group picture ID and ringtones....but i dont wish to group them together and assign a ringtone, instead one contact by one tone, not grouping together and assigning 1 tone for a group of contacts....any other nokia experts out there would like to help here????...

also last but not least, i am also looking for a pop-port data cable (compatible fake, not original one which costs way to expensive for a data cable, RM250, RM3.85:USD1.00 ) for this 3100, so any suggestion on how to get one??? looked at ebay, they have some but i dont really know how to make the payment thru paypal or credit card (dont have one!!! ), hence im looking for other means, im staying in Penang, Malaysia, so anybody would like to advice on this subject, please do so as im open to any suggestions....

P.S: by the way, does 6610/7210 FBUS/MBUS cable works for 3100??? does the 3100 have the same pinouts as 6610/7210???
