    Communications Hanging, help??

I have a phone (6150) talking to a PIC chip.

I don't know why but after a while, the phone (6150 on FBUS) seems to hang and won't talk to the PIC any more.

The only solution so far is to reset the PIC and the communications resume as normal. I've put in some debugging tools before and I don't think it's the PIC that's at fault. The phone doesn't seem to want to talk anymore.

The way I have it set up is that the PIC does a status inquiry every 2 - 3 seconds and this keeps the channel 'alive' but after a while it dies.

Does anybody know why this happens and how it can be fixed?

    Would appreciate some help.

    Ken

I've had the same problem using a PC to talk to a 6310 (Fbus), still havent found a solution to it. It isn't your PIC at fault, the phone seems to time out after a while and refuses to respond to any commands (AT or fbus) until you either turn the whole lot off and on again.
