IDENTIFYING NOKIA PHONE TYPES (DCT3 and DCT4)
NOTE: Information May NOT complete or accurate at this moment, pls. be patient
As of NOW the nokiafree.org database is experiencing technical problems, the posting of phone info. will be done every 2 days. Thank you for your patience.
IMPORTANT: There are website owners out there which are copying the information contained herein, (obviously they even forgot to remove some information linking to this site (nfree.org) and also forgot to remove the "p" thing on their list. Pls. give the name of site and poster which the information came from) and do NOT claim that it was your own hardwork of researching this information... (NOT TO MENTION CERTAIN WEBSITES, some even wrote on their page that "This is our hardwork of research, courtesy of "staff", they also wrote there that a member of a gsm forum is copying their work. (REALLY?) What A Claim?! . To web owners (you know who you are) doing thse kind of nice attitude this would be a better title: This is our hardwork of copying the work of others.
This thread will concentrate on Universal DCT3 and DCT4 Phones (Nokia Phones distributed and used worldwide), also Nokia phones with Symbian OS
This thread will show phone types classified under DCT3, DCT4 and Nokia Phones with Symbian OS . This will serve as a guide to phone users. Many users are mistakenly identifying some DCT3 phones to be DCT4 and vice versa, (eg. some users posted a problem about 3330 and identifying it as a DCT4 and a user posting a problem about 6310 and 8310 and identifying it as a DCT3), also Symbian phones that are identified as a DCT4 Phone. (Although their flashes are classified under DCT4)
Also, images of DCT3 and DCT4 phones are included on each and every post so users can see the phone's appearance. Also shown are the latest firmware of universal dct3 and dct4 phones on each post (will be available for download soon as long as nokiafree.org will fix it's database, because right now, uploading files is not yet possible - i still experience upload problems)

If you have any suggestions, or have questions regarding this information, please do NOT reply to this thread, there is a FORUM thread built for this post at Nokia General Discussion the thread title is : "Identifying Phone Types FORUM", that is the thread where you can post all your suggestions, comments and questions regarding all the information placed here. (Posts will be highly appreciated) (I suggest having a new thread for the forum part inorder that this thread would NOT be messy. (I think that would be better)
Pictures are on the next post.
