I am trying to create a battery simulator for the Nokia 6310i, with the ability to automatically power up the phone. I have successfully created one for the 6210 and 6150. This is possible by using a 330 ohm pullup resistor from BTEMP to +, while BSI is pulled low. Another possible way is by using BSI via 40k resistor (indicating a Li battery) to gnd and then using a 10ms pulse in BTEMP to turn it on.
However, on the 6310i the first method causes the phone to display "Local Mode", and the second method doesn't work.
The way to put the 6310i into test mode is with a 22k resistor from BSI to gnd (Service battery) and then a 1k from BTEMP to gnd.
Does anyone know of a way to power the phone up (I am assuming they have just changed the voltage divider???)
Regards
