    8210 display scrambled (intermittent)

    Hi,
my 8210 display scrambled up intermittent. I've been using Nokia original cover all the while. Sometimes the display goes normal. Usually when I press the power button, the display scrambled, sometimes when I took our from my pocket, the display already scrambled.
Does anyone face the same problem?
Do I need to change the elastomer or the whole screen?

    Thanks

Just the elastometer, I'd heared a while back that Nokia had acknowledge a problem with the 8210 so you may be able to just take it to a Nokia Service Centre and get them to change it for free.......worth a try, worst they can say is no!

    do it this way...

Use a needle or an unfolded paper clip to fumble that thing out... as you replace it anyway, doesn't matter if it get's damaged

fold a small peice of card or paper up and place it just above the screen so it makes the case tight when u put it on, ive done this for years as all my 8210s have done what u stated above.

This 100% works and it dont cost anything 2 make
