    Nokia binary ringtone format

    Hi,

    Anybody know Nokia binary ringtone format?
    I think about those format that stored in the frimware (in the TONES section).

    try using search and u will see lots of nfo regarding tones.

    here r some. that i could recall.

    on mcu there are alert tones. on ppm there are ring tones.

    they hav formats. some calls them ton, re, binary tones etc.

    i am not so sure but OTA format is mostly use in eeprom received ring tones on dct3. some dct3 saved recv ring tone in ota and binary format. 7110 saved it as binary. 3310 i think is OTA. so it depens.

    sometimes term use can be confusing also. like in gnoki.
    for ex.
    s Set ringtone { 0x0036, location,0x00,0x78, ringtone packed according to SM2.0} this i think, thou i am not sure is OTA. SMS2.0 format.

    and the bin ringtone for me is the same as binary ringtone format. w/c is also the one use in the ppm ring tone section.
