    help! Bluetooth not working!

Hi there! It's bee a while since I visited nokiafree.org, and i sorta forgot how to reformat a 7650. As far as i can remember, it involves something like pressing some keys during standby mode and then after restart, it will reformat itself. I thought of doing this because when i tried to open the bluetooth app on my aunt's 7650, it flashes a message saying "Bluetooth: System Error!" I have already tried restoring the original phone settings and it still wouldn't work, hope you can help me on this asap, thanks!

    hi all,,
can anyone help ??, i have a 6210 dads phone ha ha but hes used to it , problems are his old one got unlocked on a market and never worked again and the replacement he has now does not ring, i am guessing the ringer is no good , as it beeps for the keypads etc, where is the ringer located as i am hoping to take the ringer from the old 6210 that did work if possible, i have tried the rubber piece in the earphone moulding but this does not make any difference so pcb problem where next ?? also the screen is breaking up if you hold it at an angle and look down it is fine but when looking straight on the lcd just pulses and is very dark, i have changed the keypad/screen unit from the old phone but this has made no difference, elasticisor is fine and the screen works ok in the old 6210 any help would be greatly appreciated thanks rich

So...3650...battery came out while it was still on....now it wont turn on...it just hangs around the "nokia" screen then fizzes to white then off eventually.

Have read somewhere that holding the pencil button while switching it on is may do some kind of reset...tried it and it didnt work in this model

Also read that this problem may occur if the phone memory is below 500k, which mine is well above...so...am confused as to why this happened?

Any ways of getting around this or do i have to take it into the shop?

    Unhappy broken nokia 3650

my 3650 would only turn on for one second and turns off right away, (the nokia logo would appear followed by a couple of lines and then nothing)...i haven't dropped it in water or anything, i started having this problem after it was exposed to an x-ray procedure from the hospital ... (i don't even know if it has anything to do with it),well i figured maybe it was just batery problem so i tried to purchase a new battery for it.. but it didn't work, the seller said the problem might be the mother board or something like that... help! is there any hope for my nokia 3650? can it still be fixed?? pls help!

    how to open a 6600?

hello friends, its a pleasure being a part of this forum.
i was just wondering how is it posible to open the panels of a nokia 6600 phone?
is it attached via screws or is it clip lock?
my screen has alot of dust gathered under it and also the sound quality is a little low so i guess it needs to be cleaned from inside.

can anyone guide me how to dismantle the phone?

btw...i also have a nokia 3100 and i have opened the phone earlier with the special nokia screwdriver.

    awaiting responces.

    thanks in advance,
    Asad

    Nokia 6230i

    Hi Guys,

I have a nokia 6230i which got water damaged. I followed the water damage repair guide from this web site but still no lights. That not the problem the problem is that I charged the battery yesterday and it took like 6 hours and displayed battery full. But this morning it shows that I only have 1 bar of batery power left. Any suggestions on how to fix this?

    Thanx

yeah well water damage gets everywhere and its IMPOSSIBLE to clean it all off unless you have access to an Ultrasonic Bath (which can itself damage phones) sounds to me like your PA has been damaged by the liquid and is drawing too much bettery power, either that or your battery is damaged also... try a different battery in your phone before reflowing or replacing your PA...

    G
Searching is the act of trying to find something or someone...

One may search for something that is known to exist, with the intent to locate it...

If You Post IMEI's or Code Request then READ THIS!!

Power Amp... its a main component in the RF section which if damaged will affect your connection to the network...

    Nokia 6230i

Oh ok, is there a way to replace it. I see that the battery I have is a BL-4C and on nokia's web page it says BL-5C. Will the different battery also make a difference?

I would be grateful for any pointers.

if it is also the lcd led and keypad leds dont lights up may be the problem is N100 pin 2 if not replace N100.

i have an Nokia 6230 and i'm not sure what happened. i didn't drop it or anything, but today i made a call and the other person couldn't hear me. they called back and the same. i called around and no one can hear me, but if i turn on my Bluetooth headset then the headset works fine. Speakerphone doesn't work either, so its just the built in Mic.

Any ideas on what this could be, or what to check to fix it. the phone is out of warrenty, so it really sucks.

My phone fell out of my pocket whilst holding my parents baby, into our dogs water bowl

I grabbed it quickly, and dried off what i could, took off the case and let it air

It still turns on fine, i can ring out, hear and be heard, text, etc etc

My problem sounds similar to above. The battery doesnt last very long. About a day, have tried another battery, seems to be a little better, but still about the same

The other problem is it doesnt ring/alarm doesnt go off/cant hear music and videos - Which i presume is cause they use the same speaker?

Is it most likely still the PA in the RF? As my dad and myself thought it sounded most likely to be some sort of short circuit - would make sense as power being drained.

So i would need a new speaker for that? And a PA...

Would it be worth replacing it? Ie is it worth it sending it off and paying someone to sort it?

    Thanks in advance!!

    Nokia 6230i

I was looking, the little button cell battery (which i presume is like the CMOS battery in a pc - ie stores clock and stuff), looks to be rusted

    Cheers

    Friend ,
Reheating the blue tooth component with with hot air solves the problem in most of the cases .
the same thing for nokia 6600 also it is a common problem.

    Very easy
open the phone with a T6 screwdriver ,clean the contacts carefully , lift the mike connectors a little , assemble again .

    Wet Mobile Repair Tips
DO NOT turn your water damaged cell phone on! This will cause it to short out and could cause permanent damage.Remove the battery immediately.DO NOT use a blow dryer! Although your phone may seem to be dry, the inside circuit board will still be wet.
Use a Zip-Lock Bag. Put the WET phone into a Zip-Lock bag and ship it to a cell phone
    water damage repair specialist immediately.
