8210 wont turn on

Hi guys,
I just brought an 8210 from a friend, and it needed a new face plate, but when i put the new one on the phone wouldn't turn on, so i switched back to the old face plate, and it still wouldn't turn on, it's like the on/off button is stuck, i know the phone is still working coz when i plug in the charger i see the charge bar move, but i just cant turn it on and use it, any ideas?

Get a multimeter and measure the switch It must be 0ohms when You press it..if not change it ..
