intro gsm hack + 3410 software

Hi there, ive opened a gift and cellular shop
in south africa ,i have the dct3 collection+dongle+usb cables for almost every nokia, but i only know how to unblock phones and customize 3310's ,ive got some software but i would please like to know what the following terms mean :

DONGLE
DCT (1,2,3,4)
EEPROM
MCU
FLASH

also....
i have a 3410, and i hate it!!!!, it was a gift, i never wanted it,
i wanna upgrade its software, the 8310 stores 100 somwhat messages ,and i can only 14 ,a friend of mine had a 3310+upd which took more and supported animations.
i have the 3410 sdk, but it doenst work on win98.
i want it to atleast have polyphone or something... if i need a poly speaker ,i can get it.
can i download another phones software and upload it on my 34,
