Take out your SIM card, then switch on the phone. It will prompt with "Insert SIM". Type code VERY carefully:

To get the "+" press the * key 2 times
To get the "p" press the * key 3 times
To get the "w" press the * key 4 times

The phone should say sim restriction off, and reboot, then prompt "Insert SIM". Switch it off, insert the SIM you want to use, and it should be fully working with signal.

PLEASE POST YOUR LUCK!!!...AND COME TO EURO 2004!!!

    Hello Tigaman,

I didn't have luck tried both codes and got Error Code...to confirm with you:
First shutdown the phone and remove the card
Then turn it on and type the codes

they are both the same code...

maybe you will need to read the network code with a data cable and bwinlock software so we know which is the correct code

it needs to be the newtork that the phone was orinally locked to when it was purchased

What shocks me is that even when the phone is set for english (language) the error code message appears in spanish...that's why i was asking if the network code was the one from Mexico...i can surf trough the settings using the old SIM from Jamaica but obviously not get access to the local network...

using the jamaica network code...your other post says it is locked to jamaica and you want to use a mexico sim card now

I think you have used all 5 codes now
