Take out your SIM card, then switch on the phone. It will prompt with "Insert SIM". Type code VERY carefully:

To get the "+" press the * key 2 times
To get the "p" press the * key 3 times
To get the "w" press the * key 4 times

The phone should say sim restriction off, and reboot, then prompt "Insert SIM". Switch it off, insert the SIM you want to use, and it should be fully working with signal.

PLEASE POST YOUR LUCK!!!...AND COME TO UEFA European Championship, EURO 2004 in PORTUGAL!!!

    You da man.

Boy, you are great. That worked in first shot. I put in a cingular sim and it detected cingular network. I even placed call to try it out. It worked.

When it powers up it still comes up with the mlife banner of AT&T, but that's ok. Is there any way to remove the banner and completely set the phones setting to default factory setting? May be I am asking for too much. Sorry.

    Thanks, again,
