Goboy missing text

I am using goboy 1.41 on the n-gage and some text seem to be missing from roms i run on it.

for example, when i run metal gear solid i see pictures but the text explaining whats going on is missing. is there anyway to repair this?

you sure its not dodgy roms??? or maybe because you using 1.41, thouht that was the 6600 version
