UVSM crack

First I bought UVSM for N6600 from softwaremarket , but the app didn't worked ! After 5 min loading it crashed down ! But now I've found a crack that should work (downloaded drom aivanet ! ) because it's tested with Nokia 6600 !? but this version has the same problem ! After 5 min loading it crashes down !!!!??? Is it maybe my Nokia 6600 that has a prob with the app ?? thanks for replies !

I Totally hear you on this one buddy, I got my Phone without the trial UVMS app and I searched hi & Lo for it until I got it about 10 days ago. Same thing as you happened. Then about 1 week ago I got another version from Aivanet, loaded it and the same damn thing it works 1 or 2 times every time that I install it and then no more with App Closed Message. My first attempt at installing this App was by copying the files from another memory card, and thus it was unsuccessful and uninstalling it didnt work either so I manually deleted the files and I think that it may have left some files or data in the Registry which is causing this Problem. I am thinking of Re-Setting the whole Phone Now. Please let me know if U Lead or Nokia get back to you with a solution.

With regard to Formatting, this is what I am told.

FROM TUCA WEBSITE AFFIL OF GSM SCHWANTZ.
WAY TO FORMAT YOUR 66OO HERE!!!!

First of all Make A Full Back Up, at least Contacts, Calendar and Settings (Internet, MMS, GPRS, WAP etc..w/settings Transfer Wizard).
Then List all the Apps and settings you have installed, to re-install later.
I Keep all my installed Apps in a few Folders as backup.

Some problems for which you need to format:
1. Blank screen phone unable to reboot.
2. Phone only able to boot-up to "Nokia" word screen.
3. Install some program but not able to uninstall it after that.
4. Unable to delete unwanted files on C drive.

The old commands supposed to work...

A. Normal reset *#7780# 3rd party apps remains
B. Deep Reset *#7370# removes everything

C. Do a Full phone formatting on your 6600! as steps below,

1. Make sure you have at least 3/4 charge of battery power left.
2. Backup your contacts list and personal files to MMC memory card.
3. Switch-off your 6600 phone.
4. Press and hold 3 keys; Green dial key, * Star key, no. 3 key on
keypad and then press the power on/off to Switch On the 6600 phone.

Remember, do not let go the 3 press and hold keys until you see a
formatting word screen show!

5. After a few minutes when the Full phone formatting completed, your
6600 will back to original system and factory settting.

I am thinking of trying A, B, then C to check it out.

i tried formatting my 6600 using green * 3 and it worked well... just like formatting my hard drive...

problem is, my MMC needed a password. i know that you can get this PW using fexplorer, find MMCSTORE, change it to MMCSTORE.TXT and send it to my PC but the thing is a buddy of mine borrowed my dongle and wont be back for a few weeks... if i only knew...

i was wondering if there was a way get around this using just the phone...wud aprc8 it very much...

Yes you can change which app opens a file and it's properties, using the Phone only. Use either Psiloc Extended File Manager, or Symbian Wasre's File Man. Go to the file, press button 5 or Options > File> Properties here you can change the atttributes, And to open it with notes, you should do the same thing, Options > File > Open With, and choose notes, and again options Open. This should allow you to view the test.
I didnt go through with the process of re-setting my Phone, the problem was caused by the original trial version of UVSM-style that came with the phone. I bought a new Memory card which I needed any way, and it worked fine on this new MMC.
BTW if you are using Philips Camcoder Pro, then the UVSM will not work with th8is App. I think the Vides are too large for it to handle, so it just hangs.
