Dead Nokia 5146

Hi everyone
Could someone please help me - I am totally new to this and after buying a flash cable I tried to unlock my 5146 using Nokia Unlocker by Jethro. The program said it had worked but when I put the battery back in the phone was dead. Can anyone send me or point me to an Idiots guide on how to go about fixing this problem. As I say I do not have a scooby doo and would appreciate as much info as possible. Thanks in advance.

Hi Deek31 try repeating the whole procedure with jethro but this time, use a fully charge battery.

I have tried what you suggested and same again - the program says it was successful but the phone is dead. I am not even getting the charging bars. I have since read the flash with Rolis and it says that it failed the MCU SW CHK TEST. I now assume that I will need a full firmware flash (v5.30) that is compatable with Rolis. Has anyone any suggestions on where I might find this.
