    6210 keys inoperative

    I have a 6210 which when you connect the battery, powers up without using the power button.

    It searches and connects to network, has signal but none of the keys work and i cannot turn it off using the power button.

    It is like the phone has a keylock (its not keylocked before you say!!) but cant be turned off.

    Any suggestions?

    Hello.

    Sounds like your phone got WET!!

    You can try cleaning with IPA (Isopropanol)

    If the pwr key is stuck, it will cause this problem.

    If Power Key is Stuck Down, the phone will normally power down when other keys are pressed!!
