Shortkey_main question

hi ppl when i run the shortkey main script it writes the addresses behind 00140040 is this normal as any flash i have tried to compile just reboots when running the shortkey do i need to change the "code by g3gg0" to "MDOS section" for this to work" every time i try this when i open my flash in g3nolite it crashes the program even though the bytes are correct...
Is the shortkey being written to the mcu by mistake ??

the shortkey_main patch you're using, has nothing to do with MADos.
i also can't see, that it writes something behind 0x140040.

Ok cheers krisha my mistake have you any idea why when i use the shortkey function it rebbots the phone i see K P D done then the phone reboots when trying to run mados from the short key i get the same when i run it from a menu any ideas thanks

Hi nokiaflashuser,

the reason for this is mados now requires the pwr button to be pushed if the power button is not puched the phone will switch off, but as you are using embed you do not use the power button to activate mados so the phone switches off, wot you could do is when you see the message "KPD Done" press the power button repetitivly and the phone should boot mados

i will try and work on a fix for this problem.
