    Stolen Fone!!

my sister's fone (n6600) was stolen it's a postpaid and got it free from the service provider, she asked for the block and the service provider said that they will block the line and block the the unit also thru its serial #. my Q is, can sombody unblock the unit? is it possible that someone mey still be able to use the fone?

The phone is only blocked by the network service providers located in that country. For example, if it was blocked within the UK, nothing would work. However, the person who has the phone could move to the US, Germany, Australia, France and then they will be able to use any network which is located in that country.

There are many people who will buy blocked phones and then sell them to people in other countries...Thats what most people with a blocked phone do.

Yea. But won't it be a bit wierd if you sell it on Ebay and you're located in the US and you sell it to everyone internationally except the US? Lol ... a bit dodgy

Of course, unless you do it under the table ...

Theres many people on eBay who freely advertise that some phones they are selling are blocked in a certain country. And bidding isnt necessarily restricted to inernationals only - the person selling something doesnt care who wins it, all they care about is how much money they will get...Blocked phones generally go for much less than unlocked phones so some people will get a bargain.
