MCU and PPM from different phones

Hello friend,

Every once in a while customer's ask for language change
of a phone to a language which Nokia does not have any PPM.
I have experimented with my 6310i and Griffin to mix and
match PPM from 6310 (it has a large PPM collection).
But, then phone never comes up (dead!).
Luckily I could recover the phone by flashing the original
6310i PPM.

My questions:

1. Can PPM packages from different phones be mixed (with/without mods)?
2. How easy/difficult is it to mod a PPM?

Hi there

First of all yes you can Mix and match PPM
file but only of the same type of Phone (like 6310i only 6310i cant use 6310 )

if you have a Griffin Box or any other Type of Box it is very easy and takes around 30 to 40 Sec to flash only PPM
