Nothing too exciting here, just something i discovered the other week. i was looking for a solution to play the mp3s of my phone through my freinds stereo, as i always have tunes on there i want everybody else to hear. here is my solution (F*ck buying the nokia music stand, £50 and it only fits selected phones)
Buy a double earphoned handsfree kit (the crappy one they gave away with the 7210 will do) and cut off the earphones, strip the wires inside and gently scratch the (red or blue) colouring of the wires that are coloured, the copper ones are ok.
now just simply cut the tops off a phono cable, twist the wires together (the two smaller ones go together etc, make sure the two connections you have made are kept seperate) selotape/solder your wire together.
hey presto! you can now plug your nokia (pop-port) in to any stereo system, sound quality is good as well! Plenty of novel things can be done, play ringtones through your stereo, voice recordings, put callers on "super loud speaker", play mp3s and the radio. and most of all you can take the cable where ever you go!
hope this provides some use to someone, just thought id share
Peace
