    8850 - get signal, but can't make a call...

    I have a 8850 in my hands right now. The phone seems to work OK - signal is the strongest. But whenever i make a call, it just stops after about 3 seconds after i press "call". No contact is made.

    I thought IMEI changing would fix this, but no. I even tried to flash it with a virgin eeprom, and new mcu+ppm, but it still don't want to call.

    I tested to check call forwarding status, and that worked fine, it reported that it was not activated - indicating that the antenna or signal should not be the problem.

    I've tried many different SIM-cards.

    Have someone got a clue?

    The flash is not the problem. The phone acted like that BEFORE it was flashed.

    Is the antenna broken? if it's broken, why does it get signal?

    @Gezzuz

    I had the same problem on a 6210...Than i have flashed an Eeprom from an another 6210 that works...After than it was ok...

    I dont think that the problem is from the Antenna. Maybe an another hardware.... Whats about the Eeprom that i Attached?
