Clone or Original?

Im going to buy a box.

I just wana know how can i test it is it clone or Original? Because he could chnage the box into pink and sell it as an original to me.

I will bring my notebook to the meeting. Can i check it somehow?

Or is there any specifications on the PDA, or somewhere that i can recognize its an original one?

I remember seeing this somewhere.
I think it was on a forum on the original prodigy page.
