nokia 3315 - power & button problems

Hi all -

This problem started last night after NYE celerbrations - thoght the problem was just an overloaded network of people calling people to wish them a happy new year - but the problem continues this morning

Firstly, it wont power up until i completely remove the battery and put it back in again - after that it powers up fine until i turn it off again and the same problems turns up

Secondly, most of the buttons on the left (C, 4, 7, */+) are not working at all - although 1 is ?!

Can someone please advise!

Has the phone been water damaged.

Open it if you can and check inside for signs of damage.

These sort of problems are normally associated with water damage
