Re. How long to load WAD files?

Hey guyz.
I just installed C2DOOM the game engine and got heretic.wad so I renamed it to doom1.wad and started the game. It has been 15 mins now and the game is still loading!

I was wondering if it takes that long to load? tell me which WADs you have tried and how long they took to load.

whats your model?

i used to play well on the n-gage, but on the 6630 it stays in the loading screen...its pretty fast, a matter of seconds

not enough RAM

Yeah I totally forgot to mention my phone's model. I've got 6680. It stays at loading page and I cant do anything but just to kill the process. Have heard it usually takes long.

And not just that, I know people tried ashen on their 6680s but I cant run it as it says memory is full!

Any suggestions? I have even reset to factory settings and format the MMC but the same problem...

hmm stranges the heretic game work on my 6630 with firmware 2.39.15 11-11-04

hmmmmm. How long does it take to load the game for you?

Mine goes to the menu when i start the C2DOOM. then it asks for the wad file and when i choose sinle player it says loading with a guy walking underneath but it stays there for a long time that I had to kill the process.

heretic load nice after ca 1 min on my 6630 the same with doom2.doom.tnt.plutonium.you name it!

should be quicker on 6630 & 6680
