6680 connection error

hi all
i keep getting a connection error message when i try ring certain mobiles but can ring others mobile any idea whats going on

well i contacted o2 who gave me some instructions that havent worked

take out sim clean replace try again

choose manual network search enter vodaphone then 02 try agian
then put back onto automatic search

turn off phone leave battery out for a few minutes an replace try again

none of these have worked
does any one think it may be a bug or somet to do with the orange homescreen

i also sometimes get problems when trying to take a picture "not enough memory please close other appications"

i have seen the connection error before and i think a software upgrade sorted it, your memory problem is DEFO caused by the orange homescreen... piece of crap!!

get your phone flashed with generic SW and let us know how it goes!!

just been on the nokia site an this is the latest update
i cannot go back either or it wil mess my phone up even more apparentley

found out how to fix it
go into tools/settings/network
change dual mode to gsm then back again
and it work again

from what i can gather from what ive read on different sites if your phone is going into different areas an has to keep changing where its receiving from then the phone gets confused resulting in not being able to make calls
i dont know why it will let you ring some and not others but hey at least youll all know how to fix it now
wouldnt suprise me if it was because of the orange home screen crap carnt wait to get rid of it
