hey how do you create wave that are cut?
I use creative wave studio for that. You can change the quality and stuff so that it sounds good but only takes up a tenth of normal quality...
But you can also use the standard recorder that comes with windows. Works gr8 too...
where did you get the creative wave studio?
well get it if u buy a creative sound card..
To get your fav mp3 on to your phone...
Get winamp (get version 2.81 not 3) and load up your fav mp3.
goto options, output plugins and select disc writter, configure it so it copies the output to the location you want and keep clicking ok till your back at the main winamp screen.
Click play and it will convert the mp3 to a .wav file.
Open windows sound recorder (start>programes>accesories>entertainment>sound recorder)
and load up the .wav file.
Play the first 10 seconds or up to a suitable point and goto menu edit and then delete after current position, clicking ok when it asks you.
Then file properties and click convert now, change it to 22kHz 8bit mono or something simular, and then ok, save and there you go a short, smallish file to use as a ringtone
Regards
pc suit does it anyway
just copy your mp3 to the phone with pc suite and it automatically converts it to a wav file
if u do not want this to happen goto the options in pc suite and switch of auto convert for mp3
and it will then copy the file as the mp3 to the phone instead
i got some on my site. check them up.
thanck you
use sound forge 7 its the best audio editing programme.
