HP 6315 smartphone unlocking code

Hello, anyone knows ho to unlock the hp6315 SmartPhone?, I want to use it for other company and it's locked for T-Mobile only.

Hp 6315 from T-mobile USA can only unlock via code provided from T-mobile.


Try to search for unlock HP 6515 in ebay! Have alot of unlocker there. cost about 10$-25$ only

There is no tools until now but the price for unlock code is down too much (25$-30$)

Your unlock code is : 44098627 .

Here is intrustion how to unlock :


You must put t-mobile sim card in the phone before do this !


1. On the Today screen, tap Start > Settings.
2. Tap the Phone Band icon.
3. Tap Shift and then Ctl key to enable the keys.
4. Tap the blank area below the band selection box to open the unlock tool.
5. Tap Shift and then Ctl to disable the keys.


6. Enter the 8-digit unlock code and tap OK when done.
7. Wait for the device to validate the unlock code (about five
seconds). You will see one of the following screens:
-Unlock successful.
-Unlock failed due to incorrect code. The user has three attempts to
unlock. After three attempts, the device will refuse any more
unlocking attempts. Perform a soft reset to reset the counter to
perform additional unlocking attempts.
-Device is not ready for unlocking.



This error message displays when the user tries to unlock when the phone application (not the device)
is not in a steady state. It takes 30 seconds after powering on the
phone for it to reach a steady state.

This rom update will remove all T-mobile logos and sofware and your 6315 will become OEM 6315

Unzip/Extract it using your unzip program (i.e. WinRAR, WinZip, 7zip, etc...)
Place the h6315 in cradle. connect it to USB and charger
Double click on the hpRUU.exe to run the program
View the Readme and if you wish to proceed Agree to the Terms and Conditions
Click Next
Click Next again to flash the device with the new ROM
Sit back relax and grab yourself something to drink while it handles its business


If you got laptop, should ,best is do it in laptop ( prevent electric out )

so how did it work out guys ?? did it unlock the tmobile stuff ??? at all ???

This rom update just remove all T-mobile logos, Software and GPRS settings, not unlock the phone.

Is there any sort of program that can generate an unlock code when given the IMEI, or do you HAVE to go through T-Mo???

There is no software to generate the unlock code . I must got the unlock code from t-mobile so you must wait about 1-2 days.

the point isn't to do it cheaper, but to share with all of us who need unlock code for this ppc how to obtain one

for FREE. we have enough with all the monthly bills...
